After finishing a solid 20 year career in the U.S.  Navy as a Hospital Corpsman I’m back home in Ol’ New Mexico.   My CrossFit venture started in San Jose CA, July 2008, where I was deeply humbled by “Fight Gone Bad”.  This workout provided me with the awesome negative re-enforcement I needed to kick my physical preparedness in high gear for military duty.  Following 2008, in January 2011 I became an official CrossFit Trainer and fell in love with coaching people ever since.  My experiences along the way include a myriad of fitness competitions and being a CrossFit Games Judges for several competition events.

CrossFit has been a part of mine and my family’s life for nearly a decade; there is no other fitness program out there that will prepare one for the physical and mental demands that life requires.  In this pursuit of wellness, my passion has evolved from coaching as much as I can; to now, developing my life desire to make somehow make positive impact on our diabetes epidemic.  In the Albuquerque / Rio Rancho area alone, there are close to 20 Dialysis treatment centers, outnumbering the amount of CrossFit facilities in the area.  As a fitness/health practitioner, my commitment is to advance everyone around me up the wellness continuum, in moving better or simply bringing down blood pressure levels.
