I was introduced to CrossFit in 2008 by my husband, who at that time was Active Duty in the USMC. Shortly after doing CrossFit WODs at home I found an affiliate in Oceanside California - Oceanside CrossFit. It didn't take me long to begin regularly Crossfiting. Crossfitting and coaching CrossFit have become a couple of my favorite things and I commonly refer to it as my life therapy.

My favorite thing about CrossFit is watching athletes do things they thought they could never or would never do. I remember when I got my first kipping pull up and I know how much it means to break a personal record (PR). I get excited when athletes push beyond the limits they previously set for themselves, and when they build the confidence to believe they can go faster, jump higher, go heavier, or shave some time off their benchmark WODs.
